We’re a brand agency based in Leamington Spa, with core skills rooted in advertising and design. We’re not precious and we’re very friendly so pick up the phone, call us and say you’ve seen the ABC.
Easy as.

A is for advertising.

It’s where we started in 1985 – as a creative boutique ad agency in Birmingham.

B is for brand.

It’s where we are now – a brand agency that helps you develop and build strong, successful brands.

C is for copywriting.

It’s what this is – keep going, it gets better. And you can start sentences with and.

D is for design.

That’s what this is, too. And it’s looking good.

E is for experience.

After 35 years, we know which way is up.

F is for Fitzgerald.

Parted company in 2007. Helped SRF off to a great start and had some great times.

G is for gestalt.

Dictionary definition: an organised whole perceived as more than the sum of its parts. For instance, music is made up of lots of individual notes but what you hear is a melody. All great brand communication must capture that quintessential gestalt.

H is for holidays.

Everybody wants them: not everybody does them well. Click here to see how we do them.

J is for joined-up.

The big idea might be dead, but long-live joined-up thinking. Integrated is the word we’re looking for.

K is for KitKat.

They’re on the table when you come to see us.

L is for Leamington.

The lovely spa town that’s been home to SRF since 1999 (See X for a map).

M is for Michelle.

She sends out the invoices and pays the bills. Not to be messed with.

N is for no.

We don’t say it very often.

O is for orange.

In particular, Pantone 021. Funny how it’s been the brand colour of so many of our clients.

P is for panic.

Don’t. We’ll drop everything and get on the case. Only the two of us will know how close it came.

Q is for quickly.

SRF? ASAP, more like.

R is for Reynolds.

Parted company in 2002. Very talented and volatile and the stories are true. Would give you the e-mail address if he had one.

S is for Sutcliffe.

That would be me then.

T is for tightly-knit.

We’re a small team servicing a small-ish list of lovely, loyal quite big clients. Left hands know what right hands are doing, so it’s all seamless and serene. That’s the theory.

U is for understanding.

Understanding you, what you do, who buys off you and why is a pre-requisite for persuasive work. We go out of our way to gain that understanding.

V is for value.
And values.

I’ll say it. We over-service and undercharge. We’re also very good at coming up with original and honest brand values.

W is for work.

Z is for zeitgeist.

Uh-oh, we’re heading off into gestalt territory again. But it’s true – we’ve always been up with the zeitgeist. The current one is very much ‘Do the right thing’. On board with that.
